GROCERIES FOR WRITERS

In response to the ongoing WGA strike, Humanitas launched Groceries for Writers, a direct aid campaign to raise and distribute funds in support of WGA members experiencing food insecurity. 

Over 1,700 individual donations have made this effort a reality. Donors hail from 49 states, Washington D.C., and the Marshall Islands. International donations have come in from 29 countries across the globe, spanning both hemispheres.

Sometimes donations include notes of encouragement for our staff, but oftentimes, the notes are for writers. 

We wanted to collect and present them, so the folx we’re supporting can feel the love and be inspired by them. Enjoy!
